70% of Podcasters Were Missing From an App They Could Be On. The Fix Is Free.
Buzzsprout rebuilt its directory page and found most of its active shows had a listing gap they never knew about.

Your podcast is probably not where you think it is.
When Buzzsprout redesigned its directory submission flow — the page that pushes your show out to listening apps — it ran the numbers on its own customers. More than 70% of its active podcasters had been missing from at least one available directory.
Not new shows. Active ones. People publishing every week into fewer apps than they had access to.
The new tool, launched August 13, 2026, lets a podcaster submit to 16 audio directories in one action. In the first two weeks, more than 5,200 podcasts added at least one directory where they were previously absent.
The destinations include Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Podcast Index, Castbox, Overcast, Pocket Casts, Podcast Addict, Deezer, Listen Notes, Podchaser, Player FM, Castro, Goodpods and TrueFans.
For a coach running a show as a lead engine, that's free shelf space. Podchaser and Listen Notes in particular are where people go looking for guests and booking speakers.
One honest caveat, because the press release doesn't spell it out: clicking submit is a handoff, not a result. The button starts the process; it does not establish that every destination has accepted, published or correctly indexed the show. Buzzsprout disclosed no directory-by-directory approval totals and no count of shows that went live across all 16.
So finish the job yourself. Approved shows can take a couple of days to appear in search; search the full name of your podcast on each platform, and if it hasn't surfaced after a week, email support.
Ten minutes. Zero dollars. Go check.
